Stand by for the next talk on cross-border collaboration between the ASEAN region and India, UK, Denmark and Sweden. It takes place on Tuesday, 26 May, at 5pm Singapore time.

It’s part of The Green Shoots Series of talks, organised by the Singapore Fintech Festival which takes place on 9 to 13 of November, 2020.

Speakers are the High Commissioners and Ambassadors in Singapore representing India, UK, Denmark and Sweden. They plan to deliver insights on their startup ecosystems and opportunities for collaboration.

The speakers are Jawed Ashraf, High Commissioner of India to Singapore;
Kara Owen CVO, British High Commissioner to the Republic of Singapore;
Dorte Bech Vizard, Ambassador of Denmark to Singapore and Ambassador of Denmark to Brunei (non-resident); and, Niclas Kvarnström, Ambassador of Sweden to Singapore.

Topics include an economic overview of India, UK, Denmark and Sweden; government initiatives to support entrepreneurs and startups – domestic and international; insights on the digitisation of the economy and trade, with a focus on the role digitisation will play in the recovery post COVID-19; cross-border partnership opportunities for startups – in the ASEAN Region and across India, UK, Denmark and Sweden; insight into how consumers and SMEs will interact with financial services in a low touch economy; and, sustainable finance in a post COVID-19 world and the role of tech in green finance.
